Cooperation

Tamaris Company collaborates with many institutions with a view to realization quality policy. As the cooperation is being carried out through knowledge and experience exchange, it attained the high quality of our products and services.

In addition to cooperation with the Faulty of Forestry and Incel company, "Tamaris Company" collaborates with the representatives of international authorities present in this area, Banja Luka City Council, Agricultural secondary school in Banja Luka, as well as with a number of companies and tradesmen.

 

... With Forestry faculty of Banja Luka University

Having in mind common development plans and programmable linking of economy and high education, "Tamaris" signed the contract first with Forestry Faculty of Banja Luka University. The agreement refers to long-term commercial and technical cooperation in the area of education in forestry, improvement of seed husbandry, nursery production and silviculture on plantations. Consequently "Tamaris" nursery has responsibility for the following activities:

  • to let its objects to be used for teaching in order to enable teachers, associates and students of Forestry Faculty to conduct assignments considering practical work, as part of a teaching programme
  • to introduce modern production technologies in forestry to students
  • to give appropriate professional help when students are writing their seminar papers, or doing graduation thesis
  • to carry out field work on the objects of "Tamaris" nursery.

Faculty of Forestry, from the other hand is obliged to:

  • offer help for "Tamaris" staff education at all levels,
  • any research falling into "Tamaris company" field of interest is to be carried out on experimental locations of "Tamaris" objects
  • certain scientific and professional potential will be, by its priority, included when solving problems falling into the "Tamaris" scope of interest
  • Faculty of Forestry will organize scientific and professional conferences using "Tamaris Company" objects as agreed with "Tamaris"
  • give "Tamaris Company" accomplishment recognition for both teaching process and for developed contacts with third parties.

So far these two institutions accomplished significant cooperation through improvement and involvement of new reproduction technologies of planting material, too. We particularly aimed at grafting of certain rare forms and setting up of wanted characteristics for planting material, which is considered to be unusual for this region.

"Tamaris" company has been fostering important and good cooperation with many producers of planting material. The most important one is with one of the greatest producers of planting material "Industrijske plantaže". This nursery falls into the group of planting material producers of the longest tradition in this region. Its longtime experience is priceless for people working in "Tamaris" nursery. Cooperation between these two institutions is in the scope of:

  • producing and selling of horticultural products
  • providing maintenance and planting services for parks
  • collaborating in purchasing tools and equipment, raw material and auxiliary goods
  • using scientific accomplishments in researches
  • conducting certain foreign-trade affairs
  • current production and trade is to be harmonisation
  • planning of further development and development programme coordination.
