Having in mind common development plans and programmable linking of economy and high education, "Tamaris" signed the contract first with Forestry Faculty of Banja Luka University. The agreement refers to long-term commercial and technical cooperation in the area of education in forestry, improvement of seed husbandry, nursery production and silviculture on plantations. Consequently "Tamaris" nursery has responsibility for the following activities:

• to let its objects to be used for teaching in order to enable teachers, associates and students of Forestry Faculty to conduct assignments considering practical work, as part of a teaching programme
• to introduce modern production technologies in forestry to students
• to give appropriate professional help when students are writing their seminar papers, or doing graduation thesis
• to carry out field work on the objects of "Tamaris" nursery.

Faculty of Forestry, from the other hand is obliged to:

• offer help for "Tamaris" staff education at all levels,
• any research falling into "Tamaris company" field of interest is to be carried out on experimental locations of "Tamaris" objects
• certain scientific and professional potential will be, by its priority, included when solving problems falling into the "Tamaris" scope of interest
• Faculty of Forestry will organize scientific and professional conferences using "Tamaris Company" objects as agreed with "Tamaris"
• give "Tamaris Company" accomplishment recognition for both teaching process and for developed contacts with third parties.

So far these two institutions accomplished significant cooperation through improvement and involvement of new reproduction technologies of planting material, too. We particularly aimed at grafting of certain rare forms and setting up of wanted characteristics for planting material, which is considered to be unusual for this region.
