Tamaris Company Ltd. is the leading company in the Republic of Srpska focused on planning, planting and growing of green surfaces and also focused on the production of top-quality planting material today.

Our beginnings were very modest. We started on 19 December in 1983 when independent flower shop "Tamaris" was opened in Banja Luka. Our activities concerned production and sale of horticultural products. We had three employees then.

Five years later, in 1988, we extended our activities to planning and maintenance of green surfaces and sports fields, growing of flowers, decorative trees and other planting material. That same year the number of employees was ten and we began to hire larger number of seasonal workers.

In 2002 "Tamaris" Banja Luka changed its name into "Tamaris Company" Ltd. Banja Luka. It wasn't only the name we changed, we changed the scope and the area of business; we expanded and extended it.

According to the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management decision made on 12 June 2002 the nursery "Tamaris" was recorded in the register of planting material producers.

According to the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management decision made on 2 October 2002 the nursery "Tamaris" was recorded in the register of parent material owner. This act approves the nursery the right to produce cuttings for the purpose of vegetative reproduction of horticultural seedlings.

We have also increased the number of employees to over 20.
